Welcome to Laser Christian Academy!

Our school has been open since May of 2006 with an entirely new staff of Christian teachers. Our church is totally committed to providing a solid education for preschoolers in Broward county. Our teaching staff count it a privilege and blessing to teach and care for your children ages 6 months to Pre-K 4.

We are a ministry of First Baptist Church established to train children in the knowledge of Christ and Christian life values. Our preschool ministry seeks to enrich each student in spiritual, mental, physical, emotional, and social growth. Our facility is staffed by professionals, and we adhere to the safety and facility standards established by the Broward County Department of Children and Families. We are accredited by the Florida Coalition of Christian Private Schools Association, which has very stringent standards for quality Christian education. We also have a very low teacher to student ratio and give our students exceptional attention and instruction.

In our preschool we are no mere daycare but have adopted a unique approach that begins teaching our students even as toddlers. We introduce the toddlers to concepts of family, self, and God's word. We also introduce shape and color recognition and use music and stories to enhance their development. In addition, we begin teaching counting and quantitative concepts at age three. They also begin to understand abstract ideas like over/under and in/out. Our four-year-olds learn math skills, the alphabet, a phonetic reading program, quantitative and abstract numbers, and addition and subtraction. We use the A BEKA curriculum. A BEKA is a well-established Christian curriculum that is highly respected and time-tested. Lastly, we have a music and recreation program for all our students.
