Welcome to First Baptist Church of Plantation!
We are a church for all people from all places. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention but have people in our congregation from all walks of life and from several different countries. First Baptist is on the threshold of the most dynamic period in our history. We have added several new ministries over the past few months, including expanding our Bible study ministry, and developing entirely new ways to reach Plantation and the surrounding communities for Christ. Has God given you a spiritual gift that you're just itching to use somewhere? Are you looking for a place to get involved? Do you want to make a difference? Are you up to the greatest challenge of your life? If so, then this is the place. We invite you to share your ideas with us and do something great for the kingdom of God.
Come and join us for worship at 11:00 on Sunday morning! Or want to meet people before committing to coming for a worship service? Then come to our monthly family game and movie night. On the last Friday night of every other month our church gets together at 6:00 to play board and card games and just have some good family fun together. Everyone is invited. You don't need an invitation. Just show up and have fun.
Wondering why we only play games every other month? That's because on the other months we have a family movie night. We open the doors at 6:00, and the movie starts promptly at 7:00. There is no charge for our guests, so come on and bring a friend. We provide the popcorn. At the end of December we are showing the recently-released Amazing Grace, the story of William Wilberforce and how he went from being a slave trader to a disciple of Christ who was committed to eliminating slavery.
